Mustang/Hackney pony gelding, approx. 12.2 hands.
20 years old with a bright, willing attitude and plenty of healthy energy.
Handsome bay with four white socks and a blaze.
Healthy hooves, good conformation, and an easy keeper.
Loads and leads well; UTD on vaccinations, deworming, and regular farrier care.
Temperament & Groundwork:
Stormy is very friendly with people, loves apples and carrots, and enjoys being scratched. He will often meet you at the gate when he sees you coming! He has had some long-lining and groundwork. He enjoys the company of other horses and will watch over them, though he prefers his own space at feeding time.
Training & Rider Needs:
He has been ridden a few times in the round pen and around the property (never beyond a trot). His training is still a work in progress, so he is not being represented as a finished kids' pony and will need an experienced rider to continue his education.
With his willing attitude, athletic Hackney movement, and great health, he has excellent potential to be a wonderful project, companion, or a great match for an experienced child or small adult for playday, ranch, 4-H, pleasure, or trail riding.
